 Fast shipping, SONY as shown, perfect saleMay 21, 2011

I was very pleased to receive this item very quickly. I did receive a SONY battery as shown (some other reviews, for other sellers mentioned getting a knock off brand). Overall very pleased and will be happy to purchase from the seller again when I need more. I also appreciate that I could just purchase 2, which is all that I will need for quite some time.

This battery was advertised and ordered as a "SONY CR2430". It was actually a RENATA CR2430 lithium battery. I contacted the seller and he described the battery sent as a quality battery. It was not worth the time and effort to return it but I will not purchase from this dealer in the future. The item was sent promptly and the price was good but when I order an item, I expect it to be exactly as I ordered. I would have probably accepted at least an explanation in the package as to WHY the Sony battery was replaced. I could have ordered a Renata battery from at least a dozen other dealers but I wanted a Sony. Also this review was sent once before but doesn't seem to be showing up on Amazon's site. This purchase was not a great deal of money and probably not worth the time invested in this review. But again, I expect to get exactly what I order from any vendor.

The photo for this item showed a brand name item (Sony). The item that came in the mail was from a manufacture I have never heard of. Since China often shoots it's self in the foot so to speak as far as product quality goes, I chose this supplier because he/she was selling a product from a familiar manufacture I trusted.
Paying for a brand name product but RECEIVING a generic, I felt duped and did not get what Amazon showed in this supplier's product description............. Thus disappointed with both Amazon n and there partner in dishonesty.
Pro:
a. The item arrived in the next day's mail in less than 24 hours from ordering and I believed I used the free shipping.
b. This button battery is powering my SegWay X2's wireless "info key", so far so good (about a month or so, but should last over a year, only time will tell on it's true longevity).......
I probably would buy from this supplier again but with a tad bitO hesitation.

Not much to say. It works and fits my alarm clock. Was not available locally. It's lithium and from Sony.
