 Jomashop Came With a Beautful Movado Men's Fiero Watch at 40% offOct 11, 2006

I was skeptical to say the least when I came across Jomashop selling the Men's Movado Fiero watch at 40% off ($1,250.00) anywhere I could buy it in a retail store($2,000.00). So I searched the reviews and most of the negative comments dealt with purchasers not receiving their watches as quickly as they had hoped or watches on backorder.
Well, I was in no hurry to receive it so I ordered one through the Amazon.com website because of Amazon's purchase guarantee...still skeptical, when I received it I took it straight to an authorized Movado Service Center to verify the watch's authenticity...it was the real deal. A beautiful highly polished Tungsten Carbide virtually scratch proof Movado Fiero for 40% OFF!!! I am very pleased! Oh by the way, I received the watch in the time specified on the purchase order.
I have noticed some of the complaints about Joma involve buyers who did not notice that the watch does not come with a factory warranty...Since Joma is not an authorized Movado dealer the warranty provided is by Jomashop technicians. This was ok by me, I figure the money I saved by buying from Joma I could use for repair from an Authorized Movado Service Center if it needed repair. I would NEVER take my Movado anywhere but an authorized service center.
So...bottom line...GREAT price if you don't mind the warranty service being provide by someone other than a factory authorized technician.

If JOMA would incorporate some type of "Check Availability" option to their website and be upfront with regards to the availabilty of a product it would eliminate 98% of the negative comments about them...jmo

this is a tungsten carbide watch. the watch is heavy but it's contoured shape fits so well to the wrist it feels better than a lightweight titanium watch. while it is nearly impossible to scratch and incredibly dense, the texture of the metal feels soft like a malleable 24karat gold. it is quite expensive for a wristwatch, but once you try it on you will understand the value.

I bought this watch for my husband for his Birthday, He loves it, the quality of this watch is a very good. He said it has a good form to his wrist. We have looked at this same watch in other jewelry store. They wanted $2500.00-$2800.00, we got a good deal through Amazon. I would buy through them again. Shipping was very fast as well. Thanks again for quality and fast shipping.

I saw this watch at a mall jewelry store and liked it. However, the $2,295 price discounted to $1,800 +\- scared me away. I then saw it at a Movado Outlet for $1,400. Knowing Jomashop was cheaper I did not buy it but tried it on. Once I did, I knew this watch would soon be on my wrist. It is a very handsome and heavy watch. I purchased it a few days later from Jomashop. While it was expensive, I don't regret buying it.

I bought this for my husband over three years ago - and it still looks brand new! We got it on here for less than half of what they wanted to charge in a jewelry store. It is the best watch! And it should look brand new forever because of the tungsten.
