Excellent For The PriceSep 12, 2009
By PBV I purchased this band to replace a canvas watch band on a Citizen eco drive watch #BM6400-00E. This is the one that should have been on it as new. Very comfortable and looks good with the tire tread pattern. The clasp seems to be secure and so far no issues. You do have to trim the band to fit so be careful. Once you cut there is no going back, so make sure you only trim one section at a time and then check to fit. There is a small amount to adjust on one side of the clasp for fine tuning. Overall a very good product.

Nice band, needs a cutSep 12, 2009
By Flap Jack I really like this watch band. After shopping in person at several watch stores, all I had found were cheap, glued-together bands for >$20. The Rubbertech band is durable, inexpensive, and most importantly, comfortable. It was easy to install with a pair of scissors (I used tin-snips) and the flat-head screwdriver for a pair of glasses (small enough to work the watch pins). My only - and it's a small one - complaint is the cutting of the band. One has to be careful not to cut too much; one must take it step by step down to the proper length. But that's a small price for this band.

As ordered, excellent bandFeb 18, 2009
By rudycharlie Had to order a waterproof band for a new watch whose band was too short. This is a heavy duty rugged band you find on expensive sport watches. Easy to adjust length.

Nice Replacement BandFeb 01, 2009
By Ravaged This is a nice replacement band for a busted leather band on an inexpensive watch. Length is easy to adjust by just cutting off a bit of the band. The cut end is then hidden so you won't see the adjustment. Clasp is good, but feels like it might not last forever; that's why I give it 4* instead of 5. Pattern is similar to a car tire.

Beats expectationsApr 04, 2011
By Tumblemark Yes, cutting the band to length is thought provoking, but there's an upside to it. You can trim from either end, so the natural fit of the buckle and band on one side of your arm works with the natural fit of the watch on the other with the result that the watch stays in your chosen place and you don't have to whip your wrist around every time you want to check your watch. I ended up using the first hole on one side of the band and the last hole on the other. Plus there are three closely spaced holes to fit the band's spring pin on one side of the clasp, so you can easily fine tune or change the tightness -- much better than a regular buckle.
The band is surprisingly comfortable. The tire tread pattern is attractive and manly, but I fear it will be a dirt magnet. The price you pay. And the buckle does have some pointy corners, but so far I have not gouged myself or anyone else. The buckle itself is well-designed, with about a dozen individual pieces. It has two anti-release features, which builds confidence.
And the band was the first item of a large order to arrive. I'd definitely buy another.
