I bought this watch because I loved the look of it, it has the invita quality and it is a dive watch, which is what I was looking for. Opening the box and seeing it in person, I was astonished at how combining the beautiful and timeless rose gold with the fashionable stainless steel could produce such a magnificent result. Love it , love it love it. Anyone who buys it will not be disappointed.

So here goes, I'm 28 and this is my first watch. Cell phones or clocks always provided me with the current hour so a watch was never needed. However, when I saw this watch, I knew I wanted it. This is one good-looking watch! It looks much more expensive than it is and I've received heaps of compliments. It has some good weight to it, feels strong and sturdy and the size of the face is just perfect. Not big and clunky like a men's watch, but it's got substance. It's not a petite little string around your wrist. As for functionality, it tells time perfectly. The night illumination isn't very good, but you can still make out the time I reckon. So, here's the bad news. I owned this watch for 1year and 1 month and it crapped out. The pins connecting the band to the face loosend and broke off. The clock is still ticking, but it can't be worn. This is a shame since the warrenty is only for a year and it lasted just barely more than that time. That said, for 125$, it was worth it to me. So much so that I've just gone and bought another!
If you want a watch that lasts forever, Invicta might not be for you.If you want good looks, functionality and value. Try it out, but don't plan on passing it on as an heirloom. 4.5 of 5stars

Nice weight, looks great better than pictured. Reviews on the product were very helpful. Great deal no complaints fulfilled all expectations. Very satisfied but it has only been 2 weeks since delivery.

The watch looks as nice as the picture and seems to work well. I think the differences between goldTONE and a little goldPLATE, both over stainless steel, are miniscule, but I think most people would select plate vs. paint if they had a choice. In fact, I've come to conclusion the stainless steel is more important than TONE or PLATE as far as the watch itself is concerned.
I have also a goldTONE Croton which looks flashy and which I wore home for a few days, and which required a new battery to work well; the back being messed up by whoever put in battery. So, when I saw rose gold plate I liked both the color and fact there was SOME plate.
So I am starting anew with the Invicta rose gold and hope it runs for awhile without a new battery. Some reviewers wrote their Invicta rose gold crown separated from the band (mine has not so far) but like me, the color appealed to them.
It is important directions regarding setting hours and dates should be followed, esp. the part about closing down the crown afterwards to preserve the 100 meter guarantee. They can't guarantee against water unless the crown is locked down.
I think I will enjoy this watch as a daily watch. The metal band watches have been reliable, I hate the plastic bands, though I've gotten designer plastic for others. I'd be interested in a rose gold plate with leather band, that has good connotations all the way around.
