Well, after buying products from amazon for over 8 years this is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review, albeit a short one. This watch is absolutely fantastic and is a piece of art. The functionality included is amazing and this watch rivals some of the best Rolexes I've seen. For the price you can't beat it. You'll also get compliments on it ALL the time so be prepared. If you're on the fence with this watch, do yourself a huge favor and get it now.

This watch is one of my favorites. I wish the high-end watches in my collection were as comfortable to wear as this Citizen. The design of the bracelet band is especially nice. It doesn't cut like a Rolex, and doesn't pull the hairs on my arm like the Tag H and Festina's. The face is a bit "blingy" but well designed to convey a LOT of date/time information. At the price, I was hesitant to purchase since my previous Citizen watches retailed for less then $50, but I must say that this watch is durable and well made, and I tend to grab it and leave much more expensive watches in the safe. Lots of friends have stopped me to ask about this watch....their brows raise when they see it's a Citizen. Bravo to Citizen for making a luxury model that rivals the fit and finish of watches that cost at least 10 times more money.

I recently purchased this watch for my husband as a Christmas gift. He has yet to see it, but his brother and father had to get a peek. When I showed them, both of their eyes lit up. My father-in-law was scared to touch it, and brother-in-law pleaded for me to buy him one! Yea right, I'm not rich. Anyway, this watch is amazing and I can't wait for my Husband to light up on Christmas. Mistakenly though, to add despair to this review, I had purchased this watch from Kay's Jewelers. With only a one year warranty, on Black Friday, it still cost me a little over $600. And thats with 20% off the sale price! Right after the purchase, I researched online and found this same one on Amazon for a much better price. Unfortunately, I am afraid to return it to kays and order from amazon, in fear of not receiving it in time for Christmas. My point being, I recommend Amazon from previous purchases, and this watch is definitely an amazing deal! Wish I would have checked Amazon first before I thought I was getting a wonderful deal from Kays- they could have lowered their price a little more!

I got my first Citizen wrist watch as a present from my girlfriend, 16(!) years ago. Back then, she paid like $550 (CTZ-6687, Quartz AG -5XXX/Cal. No. 6300 Moon Sign - Gold plated/Titanium/Crystal/Japanese made).I've been wearing this watch ever since. Oh, boy, I could NOT even count how many times I'd dropped it! It's been thru some really rough times over the years..., showering, swimming, diving with, you name it! Have I ever had any troubles or problems of any kind with Citizen watch? None, absolutely NONE, whatsoever!!! Citizen must've done something right!
Speaking of Citizen Men's BL8042-54E Eco-Drive Calibre 8700... You know, how they say: "Picture worth a thousand words" ... NOT in this case, definitely. You MUST see and feel it!!! Heavy (true) and very, very impressive! I was really concerned about, so called "BLING! BLING!" flashy appeal - gold tone, genuine diamonds etc., (`cause I'm not exactly that `ghetto sleigh' type of a guy!), but it's really quite well balanced, fashion-wise! Modesty and elegance, two in one! No batteries needed EVER! DO NOT adjust anything else, but the local time, it comes within all necessary settings! DO NOT MESS with `em!!![...]
